FAIR ZONE Soap Tray Kithul 10,6 x 16 cm

Our soap dishes are handmade from Kithul palms on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Kithul is a very solid wood with a beautiful grain. Only Kithul palms, which are no longer used for agricultural purposes, are used. The palm tree is used in many ways; palm wine, so-called toddy, is made from the inflorescence. Sweet powder is made from the dried pulp. The leaves and pulp are also a treat for the local elephants. The palm tree is therefore used until the end of its life. The wood with its characteristic grain is often used to produce high-quality, traditional handicrafts such as this soap dish. Properties: Optimal size for solid bars of soap. Natural products reduce plastic in the home. Beautiful, exceptional grain, moisture-resistant. Dimensions: 16 × 10.6 × 1.4 cm. Weight: 260 g.
