The carefully selected oils, such as coconut and cumin oil guarantee gentle cleaning and care. The natural soap has a refatting effect and protects the natural balance of the skin. The black cumin oil can have a calming and anti-inflammatory effect and gives the coat a pleasant scent. Dull fur is cared for to the tips thanks to the coconut oil and shines in a natural shine.
The soap is minimalistically packaged in a paper box. And is 100% zero waste. Thus, Khiro's Aleppo soap banishes another plastic product in their household.
This product contains natural, vegan and fair trade ingredients. This fair trade product is made from natural ingredients. The fair trade premium helps producers* in the growing countries - small farmers* and workers* - on plantations to improve their living and working conditions. The product is FAIRTRADE certified for the raw materials that can be obtained from fair trade.
Application: Lather the soap directly between the palms of the hands with a little water, then distribute the foam into the moistened coat. Then rinse thoroughly.
Tip: In areas with particularly chalky tap water, we recommend applying an acid rinse to the coat after washing. This prevents the formation of so-called lime soap, which makes the coat look dull. To do this, simply add 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to 1 liter of water and pour over the coat.
The soap master from Aleppo
Our soap master Mohamad Khiro has come a long way. He had to flee Aleppo in Syria with his family and leave his destroyed soap factory behind. In Cologne, at Fair Squared, he is restoring, among other things, famous Aleppo soap, continuing a long tradition. Fair Squared is grateful to him for his motivation, craftsmanship and creativity that eventually led to our soaps. Each and every one of the soaps is personally stirred, poured, cut and stamped by him. Therefore, the portrait of the "soap master from Aleppo" rightly adorns each individual soap packaging.
