FAIR ZONE Kithul baking roller

Handmade baking roll made from Kithul wood. It is ideal for rolling out fondant, pizza, cakes, pasta dough and shortcrust pastry. It is made on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Products from this type of wood are made exclusively from Kithul palms that are no longer used for agriculture. The palm tree is used in many ways; palm wine, so-called toddy, is made from the inflorescence. Sweet powder is made from the dried pulp. The leaves and pulp are also a treat for local elephants. The palm tree is therefore used until the end of its life. Properties: Optimal size for rolling out pizza, fondant, pasta dough and shortcrust pastry. Smooth surface that does not stick. Stable wood with beautiful grain, smooth movement, ensures a flat, even result.
