WAVES Hiriketiya Size 8 - EU 41/42

WAVES Hiriketiya flip-flops are made from soft natural rubber latex and mould to the shape of the foot. This makes WAVES very comfortable and helps prevent annoying blisters. They offer durability and all-day wearing comfort. WAVES flip-flops are made in Sri Lanka and can help protect feet from stones or hot sand. WAVES flip-flops are waterproof, so you can wear them into the lake or sea even on gravel or stony beaches – while they are also perfect for the indoor pool or the gym shower.

Product Features

• Natural rubber: The natural rubber latex used in our WAVES is a natural raw material that grows on the Hevea brasiliensis tree in Sri Lanka and is hand-tapped under Fairtrade conditions (see also the information on Fair Rubber).
• The natural rubber is harvested in a way that preserves the trees' natural life cycle (about 20–30 grams per tree per day). Natural rubber is breathable, easy to clean and very comfortable to wear.
• Adaptable: Natural rubber is a sponge-like material that adapts to the shape of your foot. This makes Waves especially comfortable, and annoying blisters are hopefully a thing of the past.
• Safety: Whether at the beach, at home or outdoors in the park, these flip-flops have a slip-resistant sole and a durable strap that gives your feet extra support.
• FSC-certified: WAVES flip-flops carry the mark for responsible forest management. More information on the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) can be found at www.fsc.org.
• Free from animal ingredients: The formulation of the WAVES flip-flops contains no animal-derived ingredients. The milk component casein is not used in production.
• Formulation: Production uses natural rubber and natural "fillers", which give the flip-flop better stability. Colour pigments are also added to the mix, of the kind commonly used in balloons, condoms or other latex products as well.

Fairly traded: More information on the fairly traded natural rubber in every product can be found at www.fairrubber.org. Through Fair Rubber e.V., we help improve the working and living conditions of the people who grow the raw material. We pay a Fairtrade premium per kilogram of rubber to the producers. They decide independently how to use the funds. Fair Rubber monitors the transfer of funds, and compliance with the Fair Rubber criteria is verified by independent auditing firms. Care instructions

Hand wash with lukewarm water. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents – they could damage the material. Store well: preferably without deforming it, e.g. lying flat – this preserves its shape and comfort.

Warning: This product is made from natural rubber latex. People who are allergic to natural rubber should not use this product.
