Stylish bib apron with pocket on the front, recycled rice sacks. The buckle with which the neck strap can be adjusted is made from recycled plastic. The story behind it: Rice & Carry is a fair trade project to support women on the east coast of Sri Lanka and is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). Discarded rice and jute sacks are processed into various upcycling products. The bags of rice and spices usually come from markets or restaurants and are collected for a second purpose. In the factory they are then washed, dried and sewn into a wide range of products by employees. More information about WFTO at www.wfto.com
