The sustainable option when it comes to gardening: stylish bib apron with pocket on the front, recycled rice bags. The buckle with which the neck strap can be adjusted is made of 100% recycled plastic. The accessory made from recycled rice sack has room for small gardening tools. Each apron is unique. Rice & Carry is a fair trade project to support women on the east coast of Sri Lanka and belongs to the World Fair Trade Organisation (WTFO). Discarded rice and jute sacks are processed into various upcycled products. In the manufactory, they are then washed, dried and subsequently sewn into a wide variety of products by the employees.
Note: The fabric is 100% cotton (hand-woven). The rice bag is made of 100% polypropylene (upcycled product). The buckle is made of 100% upcycled plastic collected by WLAB in Sri Lanka.
